How to Carve Your Own Niche in a Crowded Market- An Idea with an Example
Written by: Maujhuri Chakraborty

It's not that hard....you can do it by just thinking a little differently than others.

"whenever I come up with ideas I inevitably find there are ebooks/reports already written about it...." .
Thats the gist of the mail I received from a subscriber .

But you know, it's a good sign.... having products targeting the same audience means (in most cases).....there's a market for your topic.

For any successful product there are 2 keypoints:

1) Research to find what the target audience wants.
2) Create and market the product they want.

So if you find products already out there , you can be more or less sure above the first point and your task becomes easier. Only thing you have to do now, is to carve your own niche by finding the gaps in the ready market .

There are different ways to do it , but here, I'm going to share with you, an idea you may like to adopt for the market you have been considering till now.

Almost in any niche you will find, 'Tips and strategies' , 'how to solve a certain problem' , is the standard formula for an information product.

You can carve a niche in the same market with same information but packaging it in a different way, providing the information from your experience and your perspective.

For example ....

Create visual tips/one minute videos and strategies for the market.

You can start a newsletter which is different from all other newsletters in your niche - like - create one minute videos/visuals newsletter. In each video clip show/speak about a strategy/idea/checklist helping your audience to brainstorm more ideas for topic of their interest.

People want information they can utilize instantly, not 300 page book of fluff. Help them to do just that and you can easily carve a niche, in even a crowded market.

One added advantage of following this strategy is .... once you have created a series of such one minute visuals/clips you can later sell them together as a bonus digital library for your other products or as a standalone product in a CD .

For an idea of the type of video clips you can create.....download the sample video 'One minute quiz' from our download library in the memberarea. But, it is not the only way you can package, there are other tools too...if you are interested ,let me know.
