Rapid Ideation Process - Part 2: Coming up with Interesting Article Ideas for your Niche

Here are the 10 topics I came up with by using the technique mentioned in the first article of this series. If you have not read it yet, first go and read it, to find about a simple but a powerful way to brainstorm

Here’s the chart I’ve used (similar to the one in previous article)

The idea is to combine Column1 and Column2 to come up with topics targeting Column3

So here are 10 topic/ideas I got quickly, using the above chart :

1. Stop Selling Start Educating: Case Study of how an online service business shoot up their profit by launching an amazing ‘customer education program’
(combining ‘Investigative’ in Column 1 with ‘Education’ in column 2)

2. ….And then it happened one day. Are you making the same mistake about your home office security.
(combining ‘Personal Experience’ in Column 1 with ‘Environment’ in column 2)

3. Why Online business owners are prone to Spondylitis and back pain and what to do to keep it away .
(combining ‘Personal Experience’ in Column 1 with ‘Health’ in column 2)

4. Passing on the baton: What happens to your business if you are hit by a car tomorrow?
(combining ‘Opinion’ in Column 1 with ‘Family’ in column 2)

5. 7 food related business anyone can start online.
(combining ‘List’and 'Investigarive' in Column 1 with ‘Food’ in column 2)

6. Checklist for Women Entrepreneur about to start her own business after leaving her job.
(combining ‘Checklist’ in Column 1 with ‘Job’ in column 2)

7. A True story: The persuasion trick Jim learned from his 7 year old and how he applied it successfully in his 'pet owners store'
(combining ‘Humor’ and ‘Personal Exp’ in Column 1 with ‘Children’ in column 2)

8. How to take advantage of “Google Video” to get more targeted traffic to your site.
(combining ‘How To’ in Column 1 with ‘Technology’ in column 2)

9. Why your marketing should be like one day cricket match – that guarantees a result.
(combining ‘Opinion’ in Column 1 with ‘Sports’ in column 2)

Just in case you are not familiar with a ‘cricket match’, it’s a game played between two
teams. There’s two version of the game – “5 day match” - which may result in a drawn match.
”One day match” - either a team losses or wins- so “result is guaranteed”

(combining ‘List’ in Column 1 with Government’ in column 2)

So there you go….

10 topic ideas targeting online business owners/startups . And you must have noticed, I have not even used all the possible angles from Column1

Of course, you can use different combinations of Column1 and Column2 to generate more ideas …and depending on your nichet, Column3 will be different
